Prafulla Parlewar, PhD

Dr. Prafulla Parlewar is working as Professor of Urban Planning in School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, India. He is graduated from Chiba University, Japan in Urban Planning (2004-07). He did Masters is Planning with specialization in Urban Planning from School of Planning (SPA), New Delhi (1997-99) and B. Arch. from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur (1991-97). He has experiences of Urban Planning in USA, Japan, UK, Mexico, Vietnam, South Korea, India, Morocco, Slovenia, France and Myanmar.

 

He is recipient of MTEXT Scholarship 2003-2007 for Ph.D. from Government of Japan. He worked as Director in City Development Corporation Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai on urban planning projects. He had worked as faculty member in Department of Architecture, Priyadarshini College of Engineering and Architecture, Nagpur.

Research Interests

His research interest are urban planning and artificial intelligence, Geographic Information System (GIS) and intelligence in Big Data, urban regeneration and heritage conservation.

He is looking for highly motivated students for undertaking cutting-edge research in urban planning and artificial intelligence.
