Prafulla Parlewar, PhD

Professor of Urban Planning

Dr. Prafulla Parlewar is working as a professor of urban planning in the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), New Delhi, India. He graduated from Chiba University, Japan, in urban planning. He did his master's in planning with a specialization in urban planning from the School of Planning (SPA), New Delhi, and B. Arch. from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur. He has experiences of urban planning in the USA, Japan, the UK, Mexico, Vietnam, South Korea, India, Morocco, Slovenia, France, and Myanmar. He is a fellow of Harvard University Spatial Data Lab (SDL), undertaking research in artificial intelligence.

He is the recipient of the MTEXT Scholarship 2003–2007 for a Ph.D. from the Government of Japan. He is undertaking cutting-edge research, consultancy, and teaching in urban planning and architecture.
