The AI + Cities Lab at the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, is envisioned as an interdisciplinary research and innovation platform dedicated to exploring the role of artificial intelligence in shaping sustainable, inclusive, resilient, and future-ready cities. The lab brings together faculty members, researchers, doctoral scholars, postgraduate students, industry partners, startups, and international collaborators working at the intersection of urban planning, architecture, GeoAI, digital twins, smart mobility, climate resilience, public space analytics, heritage regeneration, and data-driven governance. Through collaborative research, applied projects, workshops, publications, and technology demonstrations, the AI + Cities Lab aims to develop practical AI-based tools and models that support better urban decision-making and create meaningful impact for cities in India and across the world.
