AI for Cities: Future Urban Planning, Governance and Design

School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, is pleased to announce an upcoming International Conference on “AI for Cities”, bringing together researchers, planners, architects, urban designers, technologists, policymakers, industry experts, startups, and students to discuss the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in shaping future cities. The conference aims to create a global platform for dialogue on how AI, GeoAI, machine learning, digital twins, urban analytics, and data-driven planning can support more sustainable, inclusive, resilient, and intelligent urban development.

Cities across the world are facing complex challenges related to rapid urbanization, climate change, mobility, housing, infrastructure, public health, resource management, and governance. Artificial Intelligence offers new possibilities to understand these challenges with greater precision and respond through innovative tools, predictive models, participatory platforms, and real-time decision-support systems. This conference will explore how AI can be meaningfully integrated into urban planning, architecture, transportation, environmental management, heritage conservation, disaster resilience, and public space design.
